project overview.
Iconscout is a design asset marketplace that offers icons, illustrations, Lottie animations, and 3D assets, boasting over 9 million assets. It also features a plugin for Figma, which had not received a visual and experience update since 2019. In May 2023, we made the decision to upgrade the plugin.
This project spanned 7 months from the initial idea to the final launch, executed in 4 distinct phases.
problem statement.
Despite having a vast resource library, Iconscout's plugin ranked only 63rd, lagging behind competitors in the top 30. From 2019 to 2023, we added several premium features to the platform that were not included in the plugin. Addressing this discrepancy and improving discovery and onboarding became essential.
